Cristiano Ronaldo predicts that his present club Real Madrid will be the best team of the year 2010. At the same time Ronaldo also warned the club not of becoming too much obsessed with the Champions League winning at their home ground. The Real Madrid are in full determination to snatch a part of the limelight hovered to it arch-rivals Barcelona. The Barcelona Football Club has won six trophies in last year.
Now the attention of everyone is on the continental success in the final of the Champions League final that is going to be held at the Bernabéu.
Cristiano Ronaldo said, “Real Madrid will be the best team of 2010. We need to have the drive and motivation to win everything that comes our way.”
He also added further, “Madrid needs to focus on winning the Champions League and La Liga, but it depends on other factors like luck, the draw… But I think we are going to win.”
There is one more big challenge for Ronaldo and that is the World Cup. The Portugal has been already drawn in the Group G alongside Brazil, Ivory Coast and North Korea.
Ronaldo said, “Brazil is an incredible team, but I would like to play Spain because it would mean that we have beaten Brazil and Ivory Coast. Spain is one of the favourites to win the World Cup.”
