Cristiano Ronaldo has liked his transfer of his summer from the Manchester United. He says that it is like ‘having a new girlfriend.’ In one of his interviews recently Ronaldo discussed his nation’s upcoming play-off clash to qualify for World Cup 2010 in South Africa. He even assessed his feelings some 4 months after joining the Los Blancos.
When Ronaldo joined the Spanish giants, he said, “When you have a new girlfriend, you have motivation to show her what you can do, and the amount that you want to please is higher… I feel good, and very motivated, when I am playing for Real Madrid.”
Now Ronaldo is injured, having an ankle injury, so he has been out of action for the past few weeks, and also his participation in the Portugal’s match next weekend with Bosnia has sparked a club versus country row. The national boss Carlos Quieroz is also desperate to include him in his squad for the match.
Ronlado, however, did not comment on his ankle injury, but he focused on Portugal’s chances of participating in next summer’s tournament in South Africa.
