Injured Brazilian defender Pepe is not going to be replaced. During this mid-season transfer window the Real Madrid is having no plans to replace him and not also to any others players reports a Spanish media on Friday. The Marca sports newspaper reports that the management of the Real Madrid has told Manuel Pellegrini, the coach of the club, that he could not expect any new signings in this month.
The Madrid has notably rebuffed interest from Jonathan Cicero Moreira of Brazilian side Cruzeiro. Moreira is seen keen to be moving to the Spanish capital.
Even Real Madrid will not be letting others also to leave this winter like Argentine Gago. Earlier it was seen that he has sparked interest from Juventus and Boca Junior.
The Spanish media also noted recently that Ruud Van Nistelrooy, the Dutch striker, who has been mostly sidelined this season. He, however, had received green signal of leave the club this winter, and perhaps to the Liverpool.
Real Madrid has spent 250 million euros under new chairman Florentino Perez, who took over last summer. The club has spent in getting expensive players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Kaka and Xabi Alonso.
