Real Madrid is now set to thwart Man U bid to get the striker of Lyon, Karim Benzema, by saying that they have given up the run for Valencia’s David Villa.

Real Madrid on the other hand has given up the chase for Valencia’s David Villa. They are in fact hunting for Benzema. Benzema has scored 54 goals in the last two seasons. He is one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe.
Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, continues his persistent stride to pack the side with superstars. He is reluctant to shell out over 36 million pounds for Villa.
Meanwhile the Valencia has maintained that they will not sell Villa unless they receive a massive offer.
