Alvaro Arbeloa, the full-back of Real Madrid, said to the media ahead of Spain’s World Cup qualifier against Belgium that he is “delighted” in comeback to Riazor.
Alvaro Arbeloa, 26-year-old, left the Madrid squad in July 2006 for the search of first team football and joined Deportivo La Coruna first and then moved to Liverpool after six months.
Since then he completed the complete circle after switching from Anfield to Bernabeu in a four million euro summer transfer. But still Arbeloa carries the fond memories of his time in the La Coruna.
He said to the reporters, “I am delighted to be back here. I am proud to be back, especially with the national team.”
He also believes that Fiera Roja is prepared for the game and he also believes that it will be a difficult game.
Arbeloa further mentioned by saying, “We know Belgium well. We had a difficult game over there. We have watched videos and know all about them. We are preparing well because we know how important this is.”
