According to Florent Sinama-Pongolle, Xabi Alonso is one of the best players in the world. He believes that Real Madrid have done good to prise Alonso away from the Liverpool.
The Atletico Madrid striker has played in the same Reds team at the Anfield as Los Merengues’ latest recruit, and he has been a big fan of the Spaniard’s skills.
Even there is a hefty price tag, Sinama-Pongolle says that the Real Madrid have taken a perfect decision to sign Alonso.
To one of the newsmagazine he said Alonson is a great professional in every sense.
He added further, “I know him. He can do so many things and has such talent that he is one of the most complete players in the world. In my opinion, he will be a great signing for Real Madrid.”
