Real Madrid will be holding elections for the post of president on 5th of July this year. Vicente Boluda, the interim president of the Spanish giants, to the media in an interview published on Wednesday in sports daily AS.

He said that the elections will be held during the 1st weekend in the month of July. He said that to be more precise the election may be held on Saturday July 5. But this date is waiting for an approval by the club in a general assembly. The next general assembly of Real Madrid will be held on March 29.

Baluda was previously serving the club as the vice president. He resigned from the post of president this year in the month of January. The previous president was Ramon Calderon. He had to resign because he was triggered by allegations that he rigged voting at the Madrid’s last annual general assembly in December that approved its financial accounts.
